Anyone else not able to auto close folders when opening applications? Also is there a way to have folders close when you press outside of them?

In theory turning on the “auto close” option in the folder settings should do the trick, except if an app is launched through a widget (the launcher has no knowledge of what the widget is doing, this is another app). To close folders when tapping outside you may use the tap on empty space event and configure its action to “close all folders”. Another trick would be to use very large margins for the folder window.

A few items are in the pipe or already done (icon normalization,  subclassing in javascript thanks to Lukas Morawietz ) but more importantly I am working on multi-selection. It may not be something that will change your life but it’s huge, and it will take time. As a side effect, I had to rework some key item drawing code which could allow way better item animation, including scripted animation.
