Question about customizing folders.
It used to be that if I changed the icon if a folder, the background grid/stack/etc would disappear.
Now, however, when I change the folder icon, the background remains.
I’d really like to get rid of that background; can anyone tell me how to do that?
I’m running the current version of LLE.

Perhaps you need to check the advanced option in general settings, if it is not checked yet.

Still investigating, but at the moment, what appears to be happening is that the background stays for a time or till some other event occurs.
That is, I changed the icon on a folder and the icon (grid) background didn’t disappear till the next day. I know enough about computers to know how silly that sounds. I must have done something else that changed it.
I’ll keep looking. If/when I figure it out, I’ll post here.

Maybe try restarting (killing) the launcher after you change that?
