Pierre Hébert, was anything changed in the v12 beta involving the “back” button?

I have noticed suddenly that when opening an app from desktop (ex: messaging or g+), pressing the back button to exit usually (not always) returns me to android’s recent app screen, instead of desktop as expected. This just started in v12.
Running 4.4.4

Go to android settings, and force-close lightning launcher
This happens when you kill it from inside (the I’ll be back message) or when it restarts due to a java error in a script

I don’t think I changed anything related to the app stack, but I believe the issue was already here in the past. I don’t know what is causing this behavior.

Curiously g+ dynamically displayed your second message, not the first one, which only appeared after a page refresh.
