While the app is certainly not bug free, it does not seem to be a disaster for too many peoples, so let’s examine the problem step by step.

    First, what is “it” ?

By unstable, do you mean the app crash ? If so please send me the log.

If the thing does not remember modifications, then it probably means that it is not able to save data. Would be nice to check whether the installation is not broken and the amount of free space on your device is not zero (by the way what is your device ?)

What do you mean by “Please, do something else …” ?

Ok so what I suggest is to uninstall and reinstall. It is known to work correctly on a S3.

Ok I figured out what hes talking about.

Go to app drawer and then menu, settings, app drawer, items, icons.

Then I added a background image. From internal sd card jpeg file.

    Cheched the preview. Looks good.

    Exit menu to desktop.

Click home button to go to app drawer. Looks good.

    Restart phone.

    Go to app drawer.

    No backroud images!

    So yes its a bug.

But “its a disaster!” Is not a very helpful of pointing this out.

Confirmed on samsung s3 and s4 active

Also I should add it seemed like I lost all the backrounds. His only appear to have lost some. Maybee its an icon pack he has on those peticular icons he is trying to duplicate.

Robert Posey I am afraid that Peter B won’t read your comment.

Anyway, thank you very much for this analysis, I will do my best to have this fixed for the next release.
