How does one backup the launcher, with zooper widgets and widget settings?

How does one backup the launcher, with zooper widgets and widget settings? I backed up my llx through the built in backup to try out a different theme. When I went to restore the backup, only the widget placeholders were restored. Thank God for zoopers auto save, I was able to restore everything, but I had to do it one by one and reprogram the tap targets all over. This is too tedious. Is there a one step solution to this that would backup everything? Or a 2 step (one for llx and one for all the zoopers in one shot)? I don’t have mybackup pro, but I think that only backs up the stock android desktop.

There is no way as i know. Backup ll(x) and save each zw.

    Perhaps with titanium backup.

There is no other way. Themer and Buzz AFAIK support restoring widget settings to some extend (i.e. Zooper), but I think those widgets need to provide a specific interface the launcher can query the widget settings for backup. Other than that… no. But that’s Android limitation (or better: security).

Thanks for the responses. Would backing up the Android system settings do it?

Josh Gray Yes, but it has to be done separately for each widget right? There should be a setting to save all active widgets in current desktop….

Yes indeed this is a technical limitation. There is a specific bridge between Themer and Buzz but I don’t have access to this interface. I asked the Zooper developer about this, but you know, Zooper is now part of Themer, so…

Pierre Hébert That REALLY sucks! (Pardon for language, but that’s how it is…)
