I’ve noticed a lot of people put notifications on their desktops.

I’ve noticed a lot of people put notifications on their desktops. Personaly I find I like to see them on the lockscreen easily but after that I find the notification bar at the top of the screen is more then sufficient. I do what I can to keep a clean un cluttered desktop.

Just my opinoin what are your thoughts?

I think it mostly depends on which notification you are looking. Some of them are binary (present, not present) and the SB is enough, but for some other some data need to be displayed too, and in that case the SB becomes insufficient.

i’m happy with th basic notifications and all done from status bar on lock screen to keep my home screen uncluttered, i could never stand th redundancy of being able to see 2 clocks from th home screen.

i’m working w/o statusbar and do not look at the lockscreen. i do a unlock automaticly  immediate. so i like to see somewhere on my screen whether i missed something or not. it’s a matter of taste 😉

I dont really like the dual clocks either but the one on the notification panel is to tinsey wiency for me to see. Havent found a way to remove it yet on this phone. I use my phone as a pocket watch more then anything else.
