Dynamic text.
There are currently not many dynamic text options in ll. Thats fine. If I want more dynamic text options I can use Minimalistic text.

This post is to show the possibilities of things that can be displayed in dynamic text and also that it is unessary to add them into LLX bucause Minimalistic Text can already do them.
Minimalistic text adds a desktop widget with these values.
It adds dynamic text for:

Battery temprature
Battery voltage

Battery level bar

I didn’t list everything but you can see the posibilities. There are usualy options to display a number as a number (7) or as a word (seven). The app is 3.5meg so its kind of hefty. But I prefer that heft in an optional package then a mandatory part of the launcher.
If you want more dynamic text options then here are more options.
Do you think you need dynamic text as part of the launcher or is app widget like this good?

I would like to see a dynamic text for notifications built into the icon customization menue for apps like messenger, phone and email.
Edit: If there is already an app in the app store that can add other dynamic text, is it worth it to add the bloat to lightning launcher?

Robert Posey thank you for that. I was not aware of that app

The primary reason for dynamic texts is unread counters. This is something that (unfortunately?) is expected from launcher. Since the mechanic is here, I have added support a few more data sources here. The reason is that this is way more efficient than widgets. All the stuff is already here in the launcher, hence this is extremely cheap. The main limitation is that I avoid adding new permissions, and in particular internet, this exclude features such as weather. I know that some other well known launchers ask internet+root (!?) but this is not likely to happen for LL and widgets are naturally well suited for this.
