I want to test it too, but I’m not root so I can’t make a backup in case things go wrong.

If I switch to ART, after test it can I switch back to Dalvik without problems?

Do you recommend it to me? (Talking about the problems I could have, I know it’s faster 🙂

TrianguloY I didn’t backup (only data on “SD”), took the plunge. Took lots of space, had only a few 100MB free, none after first boot. All apps used so far work. Runtime can be changed back in settings, but did not try, no need to.

So I can recommend. My Nexus 4 (with about 250 apps) feels so much faster, more responsive. RAM usage is also quite lower (about 1G free instead of 700MB).

Also animations in LL are way faster. 20 instead of 10, same speed, but much smoother.
