So they wrote an article about LLX… without saying “script” once?

    Meh.

    For the lazy…

” Some users might already be familiar with Lightning Launcher. The main perk is this: this launcher comes with no frills, so no 3D animations for screen changing or storage consuming widgets. Nevertheless, there are still plenty of settings that you can adapt to your needs. You can also generate as many home screens as you like by simply swiping up, down, right and left. In the free mode, you are able to rotate, move or zoom all the items freely. However, the launcher is recommended for the more experienced Android enthusiasts due to its complexity and the design freedom. “

    Jay M probably because Tasker isn’t a launcher…

Incredible! Not at a glorious position, but that’s better than nothing 🙂

Although I have mixed feelings when I see certain apps in this list.

Unlimited space might be my preferred one, but scripting could well come as the second feature for me.

Pierre Hébert I wouldn’t worry about the position because from the looks of it there all just in a Random order anyways, and with LLX being aimed at more advanced users it makes sense they would put it at the bottom because most people will read the article and be like, well i tried that one, and that one and that and so on then they get to LLX and be lyk but i ain’t tried this one.

    IMO

No widgets? I hope they are just referring to w ‘out of the play store’ state of lightning llx, cause if they couldn’t find out how to add any, they shouldn’t be reviewing launchers

    Lol

It’s still the top launcher in this list on the same level as Nova and apex but even more capable.. Yea they obviously didn’t put it in any order

I can’t fathom how LL had not always featured in these lists. First of many hopefully, Pierre Hébert

This is because I often made mistakes and LL(X) has long been terrible to use. It is far from been perfect and lacks the polishing that can be found in other launchers.

Honestly LLX really is in a different category than most launchers that’s not a bad thing.. It’s jus different.. But for the people that can learn it its truly a work of art

Pierre Hébert you may be right there actually. Maybe concentrate on ease of use now, if that is something you want to get past, as llx has every feature anyone could want. 🙂

Im of the opinion that LLX is not for the average user, due to the fact that it’s main features to me are the scripting and tight tasker integration. Altough I’m not very experienced in either. So to me LLX is THE hardcore devs launcher, the lack of polish and ease of use are of no consequence. It has encouraged me to developed my knowledge and skills in these areas, therefore is personally benifical to me. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
