Just curious if there exists any widget pack for use with LLX, that can have an external data source, i.e. I would like to place some gauges bound to LLX variables I set from scripts. I mean like circular gauge as in speedometer, linear bars, and so on.

Have anyone seen anything like that?

I think you’ll have to make your own, using something like Zooper or KWGT

Chris Chastain thanks for hint. Zooper will work for me. Googled a little bit and found that it has Tasker integration, and Tasker sends intents to Zooper to set its variables. I guess this can be employed even without Tasker, from LLX script.

I would love to see this, but LL lacks some sort of component. It is difficult to extract stuff and share it. Although this is technically possible to animate graphics or build custom widgets using scripts and bindings, this is really not practical to share them.

Dmitry Avsioukov I really wouldn’t choose Zooper at this stage of its life. It has been abandoned by its developer.

Zooper is also much less efficient with memory and CPU than KWGT, which also has Tasker integration and is, in every conceivable way, superior to Zooper.

I’ve been using KWGT for a few months now after formerly being a Zooper user.

Thanks Ian, will definitely take a look at KWGT!

I think searching ‘gauge’ will bring up some threads.
