I don’t know if anyone besides me is actually using that library, but I still notify just in case: I uploaded a new Version of my Scriptlib (http://www.pierrox.net/android/applications/lightning_launcher/wiki/doku.php?id=import_a_script_directly_into_ll), which will work with the upcoming release of the repository importer (v1.7). It should work also with older Versions, but OnError() is not going to be reached at all.

I am starting to publish some of my APKs in the play store.

I recommend to uninstall previous versions as they come with different IDs.

I check through every app before I upload, so they may include bugfixes and/or new features.

Lightning Permission Manager

requires root and xposed framework

This app can grant lightning additional permissions for scripting without the need of a new package.

The Script Repository Importer app is in Play Store now!

The Script Repository Importer app is in Play Store now!

An app made by Lukas Morawietz  and me.

If you have any suggestion or you found any bug, report it here.

(If you had the previous version I posted some weeks ago just update it and follow the instructions)

This is not a script. This is an APK!

This is not a script. This is an APK!

Many thanks to Lukas Morawietz, I started this project thanks to him (I guess you know why 😉

And also to Pierre Hébert for…everything.

Ok, this app is called Repository importer, and allows you to import any script to the launcher from the Repository with the click of a button.

What it does: you navigate with the built in webview browser, you open a page with a script, you press the import button, and after accept you will have the script available in the launcher.

What it doesn’t do: retrieve the name and the flags required (but you can edit them before import), retrieve more than one script(only the first), and it doesn’t follow the instructions of the script and do them for you.

Keep in mind it is the first published version, I tested it and couldn’t find any more bugs, but I’m sure there are.

Even thought I made this to test myself if I could make a basic app, if I see people use it I will publish it on the play store.

If you want to know how I made to create new scripts from another app…why don’t you try it? (Hint: you need to import a script from lightning menu 😉

[Note]

For obvious reasons I need the Internet permission. I promise non data is collected 🙂

Done:

– show line numbers

– autocomplete based on variable type (partially)

Todo:

– communication with ligthning (saving, loading scripts)

– GUI

– syntax highlighting

– settings

This is basically a preview of what I’m working at ATM.

It is nothing fancy nor yet very useful, I just wanted to share for early suggetions and stuff.

Line numbering is partially code from Ted, for license and other see here: https://github.com/xgouchet/Ted

Finally.

Finally… here’s “Companion”, my new template for Lightning Launcher I worked on over the last months. Don’t judge by the pictures, watch the video, there’s animations and transitions everywhere. Enjoy.

WARNING: It is not recommended to install on devices with resolution higher then 1080×1920, since higher memory usage might cause instabilities, even freeze or crash LL. I’m sorry. I will try to optimize the template.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.echtzeitig.lltemplate.companionhome

Designed for phones with 1080×1920 resolution, but also works on other 9:16 ratio like 720×1280.

Short promotional video here:

To get you started, here’s a more lengthy feature guide: http://youtu.be/Zme2rwdv4b0

“Companion” is your daily companion template for Lightning Launcher:

– FAB (REALLY floats; visualizes missing calls, SMS and GMail; swipe gestures for quickly launching the apps)

– Scenes (for many occasions: home, work, morning, night, travel, …; store your layout; scene specific sidebar folder; set specific colors per scene)

– Widgets (add, move, remove predefined or custom widgets; store layout in scene)

– SideBars (Left: favorite and scene-spscific apps; Right: widgets, scenes, settings)

– Phone Panel (Communication apps; your favorits contacts)

– Scene Scheduler (switch scenes automatically; define a schedule for scenes)

The location marker on the WorldMap widget is automatically positioned to your current location. The map is font-based, so you can choose between 15 different maps styles (outline, solid, rastered) by simply choosing a letter “c” to “p” in widgets setting (the layers are marked accordingly).

Also included:

– some wallpapers with Wallpaper Chooser and (optional) adjustable blur

– Icon Pack for compatible launchers (do NOT apply!! icons must be chosen manually!)

Well it is been published for a week now but I did not announce it anywhere. Thought I shall come up with a presentation video first!

Here it is : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4emR28K83uE

New features: Huge Overhaul!

1. Native theme manager interface to quickly change color of all elements on screen

2. Reworked widgets to fit multiple devices

3. Quickly add your own themes and apply them with just a tap!

Changes from version 1:

1. Scaling fixes

2. Reduced 3rd party widget dependencies and compensated them with new data and calendar widgets

3. Almost all icons are themeable.

Tap some love!

A lot of hard work done and still its a FREE app with no ads. A rating on play store would make me happy 🙂 Thanks. Enjoy theming.

Please share your feedback, I’m all ears.
