Just upgraded to 5.1, and turned off the Material effect mask. Now the ripple effect is gone altogether. This happens only in my desktop, it works fine in the appdrawer.

Has anyone had trouble with LL causing apps to randomly close?

Has anyone had trouble with LL causing apps to randomly close? On my Moto X (gen 1), apps I’m using will close spontaneously…and sometimes reopen spontaneously, sometimes stay closed. Sometimes the recent apps menu pops up spontaneously. Uninstalling LL seemed to solve it, but I don’t want to be without it! Any ideas? Could it be something else?

It doesn’t appear that anyone reported this bug but it’s there even after this update.

It doesn’t appear that anyone reported this bug but it’s there even after this update. Quite similar to the bug I reported awhile back where if we scroll through the apps drawer from first to last page and then scroll again to the first page the apps disappear. While that bug is gone there’s a new bug that replaces it where nothing happens when I click on an app. To fix this I just scroll to page 2 and then back to page 1. This is with seamless mode on, swyping left horizontally.

I just tried the last beta on Blackberry Classic (the last one) and the wallpaper behaves weirdly… (the screen is a square) :

There is an empty space on top and bottom.. Black on top, Yellow on bottom

I tried to change the setting “wallpaper position” without success..

Bug for Pierre Hébert

Bug for Pierre Hébert

As seen on the video:

When you tap the padding/border/margin of a folder, the ripple animation is played on all items.

It’s a nice effect though 🙂

(It doesn’t work if you tap the folder background)

[Note: this bug is not from the latest versions. It was before too]

I use a panel (1 column, 12 rows) to scroll through apps vertically.

I use a panel (1 column, 12 rows) to scroll through apps vertically. When using V12.4.2 on Android 4.4.4, it would scroll to the next list of apps (apps 13-24 for example) when I scrolled up. However, when using V12.5.2 on Lollipop, it only scrolls partially and then when I click one of the apps, the scroll moves again and doesn’t open the app I clicked on. Have you seen this or have any advice?

I have a script with only this line:

I have a script with only this line:

alert(LL.getEvent().getSource())

When i put the script on an touch event of an item event.getSource() somehow returns the source of the event that was fired before I touched the item. (For example it would say C_RESUMED if I had just switched to that desktop)

Since the latest beta, whenever I go to lightning settings, I get a force close and a crash report.

Since the latest beta, whenever I go to lightning settings, I get a force close and a crash report. Cant tell you the beta version as I cant get that far without it crashing. I removed llx and reinstalled. So I now have the “out of the box” llx, and that still crashes too. Any ideas ?  Cleared cache on phone, no change

Bindings bug.

Bindings bug.

I think this bug happen always with animated bindings, but as nobody reported it yet I’ll provide the specific steps I tried.

Set a binding to animate(‘$b’) the label of an item.

Make a shortcut to change the b variable, value 1-$b (nice trick 😉

When the launcher restarts, or sometimes when it is in background long enough and you open it again (not exactly killed, but not sure the state it become) when clicking the shortcut the first time the change is not animated. Successive clicks does. (I mean, the first click change the label instantly, the second/third/… clicks change the label with animation)

Note: Doesn’t matter which animation. Doesn’t matter if the shortcut simply set the value directly. Doesn’t matter the property.
