BUG REPORT

Hi. I am experiencing force close. The error occurs on the SearchView handler function generated by the script attached. It’s used on the CreateScript event of a CustomView. One of the overridden methods of the handler function works fine. I assume because I am calling the “LL.runScript”. The execution of the other one that directly calls “makeNewToast” is throwing the error.

I used the script as a way to experiment on how to override java functions for stuff like the SearchView. I guess the “runScript” will be the way to go in overridden handler methods.

I keep changing the “long press” event on desktop to “Show App Shortcuts”, but after a few days, I find it keeps reverting to “Move Item”. Why is this, and how do I keep it to one action?

BUG REPORT

I can not add a widget to a desktop. I have tried both with the release and beta versions. The symptoms are different.

Steps to recreate:

1. Long tap to bring up LL Menu

2. Select “+”

3. Select Widget

4. Select a widget

5. Watch it fail

Release – V14.1.5

– when the widget is added, LL dies

– Bottom of log:

“Failed to find provider info for net.pierrox.lightning_launcher.lwp_key”

Beta – V14.2b1 (?, I know it is the latest)

– Window pops-up asking where to share the item to

Device Info:

Amazon Fire Phone, Fire OS 4.6.6.1 (Android 4.4)

Hello, community!

Why sometimes there is earthquakes if I fall into panel editing?

Btw, it performs in wired directions.

Maybe, it defers from position of preferences (props) editor.

Hello Pierre

Hello Pierre

Bug report.

I’ve experienced a LL block (report sent) after a reboot.

Trying to understand the reason I’ve found that the guilty seems to be the overlay feature.

I activated it when I tried the floating desktop. If I disable the overlay from the Android settings all seems to be ok but rebooting the phone, at the start-up, LL crashes continusly. If then I enable this feature again from the Android settings LL stops crashing and from now on it works fine.

The problem seems to be present even if I disable the overlay option from LL Settings->General->Floating desktop->Setup and then reboot the phone.

The problem is NOT PRESENT if, instead of a reboot, I shutdown and then restart the phone.

My device is a Samsung Galaxy S5 mini (dual sim)

Android 6.0.1

Thanks in advance

Riccardo

Pierre my email and crash report won’t go through. Running Nox on Windows 7 64 bit and it crashes whenever I move anything out of a folder. Just a heads up.

Bug report… File shortcut icons…

Bug report… File shortcut icons…

Even though technically shortcuts for files and regular application shortcuts are apparently the same thing, all of my “file shortcuts” occasionally loose their icons and are reset to the default. Specifically, icons created via Moon+ Reader use the documents 1st page as the launcher shortcut icon.

Unfortunately, at a sporadic interval these icons all get reset to the default moon+ icon… I’ve had the same problem with image shortcuts created by FX (file manager) and SSH shortcuts created by Juice SSH, and contact shortcuts to WhatsApp…

Why does lightning loose custom shortcuts created by apps, but the default shortcuts are maintained?

Any way I can recover the shortcut icons? There are so many, it would be very difficult to recreate…

Sometimes setting scroll position of a panel from scripts stop working (with the setPosition() method).

Sometimes setting scroll position of a panel from scripts stop working (with the setPosition() method). It doesn’t show any error, it just doesn’t do anything. After restarting LL it works again.

Furthermore, after calling setPosition() on the panel the back button won’t return it to its initial scroll position. After scrolling the panel manually, the back button works again. (This happens even when setPosition() doesn’t actually work.)
