Ah, s…t, my first app removal notification.
The update for Lightning has been rejected by Google, even though some users already received the update. Reason: “Violation of the intellectual property and impersonation or deceptive behavior provisions of the Content Policy.”
What?
Don’t know why, and don’t know when it will be resolved.
]]>V12.1.1
Bug fixes again, no new feature. It will in particular solve the status bar or wallpaper issues when returning to the home screen under some particular conditions.
This is no longer a beta but you may have to wait more than usual before to receive the update. The reason is that this version is published as a “staged rollout”, meaning that only a given percentage of users will receive the update first. This will allow me to check that everything looks good before to fully release the app. If all goes well it shouldn’t take much than one day or two before everybody get the update. I’ll update this post when this is done.

]]>Yet another update! But this time, not on the same package.
V12.1 beta
Edit: V12.1b2 is following in order to fix some annoying crashes.
Edit: V12.1b3 with a few more bug fixes.
A long changelog for this version but most entries are minor improvements and fixes.
There is one thing however which is likely to cause issues. The desktop wallpaper feature received a big update and, unfortunately, I expect to see issues here. The reason is it relies on hardware capabilities. Since I cannot test on all devices but mine, I can’t exactly predict how it will behave in the wild. You are warned, your desktop wallpaper may disappear, but please be patient while I am tuning the feature.
There are also some architectural changes under the hood to support the trial version which will be released soon (I’ll make a public post on this soon). The theory is that this should remain invisible, but in case of unusual behavior don’t hesitate to slap me 😉

]]>Repository importer app version 1.4
The main change is the app icon update, to match the same as LL.
Also there is now a new way to load scripts. From the user side nothing changed.
And Lukas Morawietz improved the ‘there is a new script’ toast: now it says wich one.
]]>V12.0.1
A few miscellaneous bug fixes, nothing special here, but an usual round of polishing after a major release 😉 – Fix shortcut to the app drawer settings
– Don’t show the app drawer in recent apps
– More lines in the default setup hints (for translations)
– Changed the default badge source to missed calls
– Fix reset of the app drawer and home desktop (now use the same setup as the initial one)
– Fix z-order change not taken into account in the app drawer
– Fix dynamic text visibility issue
– Updated app drawer and script editor icon
– Updated default/settings status bar color
]]>V12
What? But previous version was v10?
Indeed, but I feel that this version reached a milestone and is worth a major version bump. But since I said previously there will be no v11, I had to directly jump to v12, lol!
To sum up, here is what’s new in this release:
– a new icon!
– a new app style, including a new default setup, a new dark or light style, many minor visual improvements and more
– a new add item dialog which will help to create specific items more easily and faster
– a set of builtin page indicators
– a new script editor
– and many other improvements and bug fixes
Thank you again for testing the app and reporting bugs! I know that opting for Lightning beta is rocky, you beta testers are real adventurer!

(Not an APK update… yet…)
Lightning has a new icon 🙂
Creating an icon is incredibly hard. But, with the invaluable help of the community the app has a new logo. This new icon is based on the work of Jeff Ludlow . I would like to warmly thank him but also every members of this community who participated in discussions. I firmly believe that in the final icon there is a small part of all previous brainstorms.
I like this icon for its clean, sharp and vivid color. This is an abstract design, easy to grasp and remember, and although it has no apparent link with a launcher, I believe that it is well suited for Lightning. After all this is a bit more than a launcher…
]]>Repository Importer version 1.3 published in Play Store
New: Attach the ‘About this script’ at the beggining of the code, can be disabled, enabled by default
New: Toast if the index has changed
Improved: remember the position when going back
Fix: Bug with root-loading
Fix: JSON exception
Thanks to Adam Caine for reporting these bugs
]]>Repository Importer update V1.2 (available in some hours, you already know that ;)
V 1.2.1 , fixed crash when opening from LL’s editor
IMPORTANT: Due to a slightly different way of saving the data, the manager needs to be loaded again. Just follow the steps as the first time (the script will be updated too)
You can now open links related from the repository with the app. When you click a link, if it is of the wiki it will ask you to open it with the browser or with the app (unless you specify a default action)
If you use Chrome, it will ask you even when navigating. If you use Firefox you can use the ‘open in app’ button in the bar
Added long-press back button to close
If you find any bug, or something that is not the expected behavior, just say it 🙂
(Pierre Hébert, not sure about this, but can I set those posts in the ‘App update news’ section? If not I understand it is for LL only, don’t worry)
