Not sure if it is a bug.

“Expand notification panel” action doesnt work as expected when status bar is hidden (“Hide statusbar” option is activated).

Expected behaviour:

Triggering the action does show the panel without showing the status bar first (because it is hidden)

Current behaviour:

Triggering the action does show the status bar only. No notification panel.

Triggering the action a second time directly after does show the notification panel.

But when swiping up to close the panel, the status bar stays visible but should still be hidden as it is configured.

So we have two possible errors in one.

Anyone any idea? Is this a bug or an intended behaviour?

(Android 4.3, latest llx release)

Samsung device? I remember time ago a discussion about this bug, it happened only in some devices, specially Samsung ones. But can’t remember exact details.

Yes I remember something different about this: the notification panel cannot be shown if the status bar is hidden. There are a few fragile status bar handling in the code, it must be broken there.

before the last llx update at least the status bar stayed hidden when closing the notification panel. (opening could be done by double trigering the expand action)

so there won’t be a solution to this little problem?

Karsten Franke I am trying to solve the issue but since I have no samsung device I can only try things blindly. Would you like to test an update to see whether it works on your device ?
