I can’t clean my notifications in status bar. I mean after I clean them and new one pops up old ones stay there. What can be a problem? I’m on Android 5.1.

This is a bug of Androids download provider. It exists at least since Android 4.3, but google never cared to fix this. It appears more or less randomly afaik.

Most of the time it helps to click the notifications instead of swiping them away. Otherwise clean the devices cache and restart.
Chris Chastain you won’t see this if you don’t use the stock browser (or another app using the default provider) to download, or if your brand customized something in there. Or you just haven’t seen it yet, because as I said it’s random.

On a side note, keep in mind that launchers are third party apps like any other ones, they don’t have special permission or power (except some that requests root and internet, lol)
