Hi

Hi,

could anyone explain to me how do I add things to the lock screen? I managed to figure out how to get to the lockscreen, but it shows only the tip and unlocking circle. Only 2 things I can do on it is tap the tip which takes me to LL settings for lockscreen or unlock it. Long press elsewhere vibrates but does nothing. I would like to add clock, weather, music player widget and such to it.

Or do I misunderstand the lock screen’s purpose and it’s not supposed to function as replacement of system lock screen?

Thanks for any help.

Select it in settings, lightning, desktop config and edit as a normal desktop.

You can long-press and delete (trash can icon) the hint text. This will get you more room to play. Then long-press the empty area to go into edit mode (pencil icon) or add things (plus icon).

That’s what I was doing, but the problem was actually elsewhere as I have discovered. It was because my desktop was locked to prevent moving stuff around and I somehow didn’t make the connection between that fact and the issue.

Ah yes, different “lock” (edit lock not phone security lock)

In edit mode, everything can be moved… Locked or not
