I would like to know if it’s possible to use a script in LL to play a sound 🎵🎶🎵when tapping/launching an app icon? I’ve lost my default tap sounds. I’ve look at the list of scripts on LL wiki and haven’t found any. There also doesn’t seem to be anyone even discussing it online which I find supprising. It would be nice to be able to choose from a list of sounds for all or just individual apps and icons.

I’m no coder but I’ve been using LL for a long time and if someone out there could either point me in the right direction with a link or maybe even decide to write one for this purpose it would inspire me to begin learning how to use them.

If you think this is a feasible idea💡 and you would like to have this feature like me then +1

  1. I hope this isn’t possible.

I don’t see why not pretty much anythings possible with scripts. I think you would use the MediaPlayer class for this. https://developer.android.com/reference/android/media/MediaPlayer.html

  3. Chris Chastain this is possible.

  4. Thanks for the link and info Jay M but its all a bit over my head lol. 😅 Its a bit complex for me. I do have a jave script book but I’de have to start at the beginning learning to write 📝 scripts. I don’t know how hard it would be for someone w/the right know how Lukas Morawietz to do this but if they are out there it would AWESOME if they could upload it somewhere and leave instructions on this post discussion.

  5. This seems much more suited for Tasker, which can detect if an app is launched, and can also easily play sound files.
