Seen this too, happens when grid size gets a bit too big.

    Related to the icons =D

If I have a 5×8 grid, the holo effect is fine, if the grid is 6×9 then the effect gets cut off, if the grid goes even bigger then the text and the icons start to get cut off.

I’m guessing the holo effect needs a certain amount of padding around the icon and doesn’t take into account how big is the item’s box containing it.

If you don’t want to mess up your grid, then you can change the item size to 90%, that should make a noticeable difference with the holo effect.

Hope my thoughts see more understandable this time =D

Taavo Allik Ok, I get it. What was confusing for me is that how you meant the word “big” regarding the grid.

If you say big grid. for me that means that you set the grid cell size to a big number, so that way there will be fewer cells on one screen. Accordingly, small grid means you set the grid size to small, and you will get more cells.

I thought about the spring for a long time =D

Hope it might make sense as a new desktop is set to 5×5 and….I’m not even sure anymore =D (probably big numbers for rows and columns, as a new desktop’s grid is defined by rows and columns)

I should have just said smaller cells, if only I would have thought of that earlier =D
