At last I switched to LLX, and I imported my setup from LL.

At last I switched to LLX, and I imported my setup from LL. The automatic import didn’t really work, so I needed to export then import manually, whatever.

However…

In LL I’ve set up the app drawer so that it has a solid color (not black) background, which extends to the status bar and the navigation bar too.

In LLX, with the same options, the status bar and nav bar are transparent (-> the live wallpaper is visible). If I switch off the transparent bars in misc options, then they are black.

I am worried that import didn’t worked correctly 🙁 What went wrong exactly ?

Regarding the bars there may be a difference in android management due to the action bar being displayed in LL but not in LLX (there is a bar, but this isn’t the standard action bar, which is hidden). But I am not sure to catch everything about the issue.

LLX says it sees LL, and it will import all data. It finishes loading after a few secs saying it’s ready. However LLX presents the default setup, with nothing changed.

As for the bars, this is in LLX: https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/HJRS9hxvH9jrvwlyNMZAMh_LmAFmP7NpKHx7SBZXp4U=s0

And this is in LL: https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/HgreVR6rmy2jIS5Zo6sSK3sxaoBQbSEXcbHens9MaZU=s0

It means the app could not copy existing data and fallback to the default setup. Are you using one version in beta, and the other one in stable ?

Thanks for the screenshot, I understand what goes wrong, but I have a workaround only if the color is fully opaque. For translucent colors it will not work, but at least it will solve the issue here since it appears your color is opaque.

Both are the latest (codename Bubble).

Now I tried importing again, but same results. (I reinstalled LL, imported settings manually from sdcard, cleared data of LLX, started LLX. It said it’ll import automatically, and then default setup was loaded)

Could it be possible to get a backup of your ll setup please ?

Also, could it be the problem that I have bought/installed LLX through an other Google Account? (I bought it with an alternate account, which I had Play Store credit on.)

Thanks, it seems that the setup has already been loaded with LLX, and reloaded in LL : this changed a few data. While both formats are mostly compatible, LLX does not expect to import LLX data, but only LL data, and for this reason failed.
