Add the red panel to the transparent one.
Add the red panel to the transparent one.
LL crashes. (latest release 12.6 r2360)
What’s wrong with the backup?
Creating a new panel and adding the red panel to that one seems to work.
Would be nice to know whats going and and why.
Side note: it might have to do something when panels within panels get created via script. I wanted to supply an easy template first that originates from a more complex template actually. Creating panels in a for loop in that complex template gives null after some successfully created panels.the supplied template is an easier testcase.

Thanks for the backup, I will load it on my device

It appears that both panels are linked with the same and invalid container (with an invalid id).
The issue is not in the resulting setup itself, but in the panels creation process. Could you share the exact script used to create these panels please ?

wierd thing is: the creation does work correctly for a couple of days, but suddenly, it stops working. some panels get created correctly, but not all.
So the creation itself seems to be setup correctly. Something goes wrong internally, I guess.
do you need the complete script or are the actual lines where I create the panel enough?

I fear there is a nasty bug triggered by a special context. Can you isolate the failing script in an empty desktop (maybe it is already here in the archive ?)

Thank you Pierre.
Fyi: opening the Google plus link results in a 404. Same for other tickets as well.
May be worth checking.

At the moment I cannot make it break. I fixed a tiny bug but I don’t think it was impacting panels creation.
The only thing I can say for sure is: wonderful widget!

Thank you Pierre Hébert . For both comments.
Fingers crossed you can break it in the future.
Otherwise I am afraid I wont publish the news widget being only 95% stable.
Keep me posted.
