Looks like another one… shortcut “LL – Action >> Add object” brings dialog, but adding an app widget does not work.

Chooser is shown, I can even configure widget, but then it disappears. Have zoomed out, searched on desktop etc, it’s not added.

But: if I long-click and “Add”, widgets can be added.

All other objects (apps, shortcuts, etc) are working also, just not widgets.

EDIT: applies to panels, folders and desktop, too. Permissions problem?

Goof catch, I could never have found this one myself !

I would rather think at a position/size problem. Widgets have a particular sizing strategy and I think something is broken due to internal changes in the positioning code. Most likely I will be able to see different values when adding the widget the ‘regular” way and through the shortcut.

I tried this and had the same thing happen–a toast says widget added successfully then you get to play “where’s my widget” for a while… :-P
