If user set this option (Seamless mode) to yes…

If user is on home desktop (after tap to button home) and doing go to edit layout, this time is everything OK.

If user doing scroll to next/previous/up/down screen and is back ond tho home screen and doing go to edit layout, this time is user on the wrong screen (screen is empty, max with pinned icons).

Yes, this is because in edit mode this important to know where items are really located. Otherwise it is possible to add item somewhere, believing this is on the home page, but you end up adding it a few pages away.

Pierre Hébert just thinking: how will be to automatically ‘teleport’ to the other side when you completely reach a ‘duplicated’ view?

I have a script which do that, and it is unnoticeable. Not sure if it will break something

This was a solution that I considered, but it has major drawbacks related to scrolling and zoom.

That said, the current implementation has a fair number of drawbacks too 🙁

    hehe, try doing this:

Seamless mode to yes, on desktop doing many time scroll to left, right, top, bottom. (until you get bored). Now press back key, or home key 😉

    It’s a bit like a carousel. 🙂
