Current Desktop > Wallpaper & Background > Change the desktop wallpaper… > External file manager
The above option opens icons instead of wallpapers provided in the icon packs. I am not sure whether this has been reported already. So please apologies in case it has been already reported.

In LLX this does not happen to me. I get a choice of gallery, photo handling apps, and file managers.
I do not get a choice of icon packs…

Grace-Ann Curby thanks for the response. But did you try the same with some icon pack that you would have installed, say Stark icon pack.

Then this may be a bug in the icon pack: the “External file manager” entry displays apps that match a filter. If an app answers yes to this filter and displays something else when launched, then my guess is that its declaration is broken. (in other words: the intent for the activity is wrong)

Manikandan R do you get the bug regardless of what theme/ icon pack you are using?

Carolyn Boyle sorry dude for the delayed response. It was night here. No, the issue doesn’t occur if the wallpaper is embedded in the theme app like stark or nox. Otherwise I am getting only the icons in icon Packs like Axis.
