I know it’s not the most attractive home screen, but the main reason for the post is the shadowing on the text top right (battery, etc).
The shadow for the text is set to a radius of 10 but you can see the shadow is clipped at the text width, rather than 20 pixels wide, for the 10 each side).

Unfortunately Android text components do not take into account a few things while measuring their size 🙁 Anyway that’s pretty annoying, I will try to find a manual workaround for this. In the meantime what you can do is to add one or two spaces at the start and at the end of the text…
