I tried to play with the idea of TrianguloY of creating slider with stop point (of course it does not trigger any action but at least it scroll ;p)

But that make me discover an interesting behaviour.

So setup is a panel with a no action shortcut and a stop point. (and another shortcut out of the display range to allow the sliding)

When not in lockscreen mode, I can touch on the shortcut and slide the panel. (or I can touch anywhere on the panel and slide it)

When in lockscreen mode, If I touch the shortcut, the panel will not slide and the shortcut refuse to move. I have to touch somewhere in the panel with no item to allow the panel to slide

Thanks, good catch ! I disabled a few things in lock mode to avoid edition and popup menus but it seems like I went too far…

Anyway, I plan to add sliders, because it’s too much user work to recreate one. I don’t know yet whether I will provide a lot of them or a single one.

I can confirm it. Sliding in a panel on the lock desktop (when locked) is weird. If you scroll from an item inside the panel the whole desktop is scrolled, instead of only the panel. Scrolling from the panel background is ok.

just 1 slider should be enough but if i may suggest just to work on getting what is already on the table functioning then worry about options
