   Remember that it will only appear while in edit mode and only with ‘detached’ items.

   Try rotating the device. Theoretically if the box is outside the screen it will move inside, but….Try

   The other solution is to restart the launcher, it will reset the box position.

   
   

   If you can’t still see it….write here your android version, the device and the launcher version as well.

   your advice indirectly worked by perhaps resetting something, but it didn’t look like it worked until I did it again then the box appeared like normal. thanks.

   i didn’t reset launcher. I just rotated my screen while in edit mode to get no apparent result, until I tried it again to have it appear in the middle like normal.
