2 problems:
Had some issues with icon packs not applying properly, did a fresh install and even my backups were gone – that wasn’t supposed to happen, right?
The video is about another issue: I go to delete all of the desktops, and add a new one, I select that as home desktop and hold down on it (to enter it). LLX becomes unresponsive, in the video the first thing I do is press the menu button, but nothing happens. When I force close LLX and then open it, I get the greeting that comes when you first open LLX and all the desktops are back as well.

Could be because LL didn’t have time to save all?
Strange. (What happen if you wait a bit until force stop? You can use a script to run ‘LL.save()’ )
And you said it deleted all your backups? That’s even more weird…do you have any app that deletes old folders when you install an app?

Chris sledge I’m trying to delete the desktops that I don’t need and have my own empty desktop. I finally had the time to start trying to create a new setup with LLX. The problem is that I cannot enter edit mode or settings or anything else in the new empty screen.
TrianguloY I tried it a few times before recording it, the first time this happened I waited longer (will try again though). What will ‘LL.save()’ do? Just create a backup? I don’t think I have the opportunity to get a script running – as soon as I exit the LL menu it got stuck.
Yup, it deleted all my backups! Not very happy about that, but luckily I hadn’t created anything extraordinary, so no harm done. Nothing like what you described, closest is Clean Master. I have used once to tidy my phone a bit – it finds folders that haven’t been used for a bit (among a lot of other stuff) and suggests to delete them. But I went through those folders manually and I leave launchers always alone, even if they aren’t installed anymore.

It seems that this happens when I delete the desktops in a specific order (probably because I deleted desktop “1” first, doubt that the order for others mattered that much).
There was no problem, when I deleted the empty desktops, created a new one, went to the first desktop, then deleted it and went to the desktop I created.
Luckily this problem can be avoided, though it’s still a weird bug.
And the question where did all my backups go is still unsolved..

I don’t believe LL would delete by itself files on the external storage, but the assumption of TrianguloY is correct: something is wrong when deleting desktops and because of this weird bug the app didn’t have the time to save data and this resulted in an another unexpected situation.
Thank you very much for the video: this is a clear step by step and it will allow me to fix this issue for sure!

Pierre Hébert Glad I could be of help!
Also an additional question: is there a way that I could set an icon packs masks/filters/layers to a non-app item such as a widget?
One more: if I want to change a shortcuts (All Apps) icon, but still want it to subject to the icon pack – how should I accomplish this? I want to have the a few dots for the icon, but when I select a new image the the icon pack effects aren’t applied (as should be), but when I apply the icon pack after that the original icon gets restored (I remembered that the new icon stays and then the icon pack gets applied.
If it’s hard to understand my text then I can show it in a video, but it’ll take some time.
