Hi, +Pierre Hébert .

Hi, +Pierre Hébert .

First of all, thanks for your continues support and updates. I’ve seen you’ve fixed some problems with home button. If I’m not wrong, other issues with back button were reported too. In my case, it happens habitually, everytime you play around with folders, sooner or later, back button stops working. Reopen a folder is usually enough to make button back operative again.

Is this issue still pending?. I ask just to confirm if the issue is related to my hardware or not.

Thanks again.

This is a bug in LL 🙁

Can you identify which sequence leads to the issue ?

In fact there are multiple occurrences of the same bug and I need to find them all.

I think, but only assumptions, that LL keep a ‘variable’ to store the last open folder, sometimes this variable is wrong, and I think that this is the problem, because if you have an open folder, but the ‘variable’ is another one back button won’t work.

I also discover, that with the previous bug (fixed now) my ‘swipe two fingers down’–>’open launcher pop-up menu’ was wrong, I mean, I opened a folder but that action was launch in the ‘home’ layout (with ‘edit launcher’ instead of ‘edit folder’)

I repeat: only assumptions, but maybe they help.

Well, I’ve observed the back button issue the last few weeks, but I couldn’t detect an exact sequence that happens all the cases. Anyway, the issue always happens when you play around with folders. If you check my new homescreen (the one I’ve just shared) you can see my folders set up. The issue usually happens when you clic the Apps button (the one integrated in zooper widget) and you open the subfolders. Sooner or later, back button stops working (you notice that when you try to get back to central homescreen by clicking it).

Anyway, I can tell you the sequence to get the back button functionality back: you just have to open a folder and it’s back.

I’m sure you’ll get the fix.

    Thanks for your support.

Can confirm, Javier Rodríguez García, Back-key gets stuck, opening folder releases it.

Hi again. Pierre Hébert, I guess I’ve found a constant behavior related to this issue and it’s appearance. These are the steps, you can check my home screen to understand:

    1. I open Apps folder from side bar.

    2. I open any sub folder.

    3. I close both.

    4. I Swype right or down to get the hidden widgets.

    5. And that’s all, back button doesn’t work. So, you have to reopen a folder to get a normal functionality again.

So, the issue always appears when you open two folders at least (it doesn’t happen if you just open one ) and you close them. Then, Swype in any direction.

    I hope it helps.

Javier Rodríguez García, The question is: how do you close them? Home button? Action button? Gesture? That’s where the bug appear.

Ok with back button the bug appear.

    And my comment was true!

When I do Javier Rodríguez García’s steps, once I close all folders the swipe with two fingers to show the pop-up say ‘customize folder'(even though I’m on the main screen), Do you know which folder? Exactly! The first opened folder.

So, when you open a folder, and then another inside, if the first folder was close (I have the auto close when item launch) then, pressing back to close the second folder, a part of the launcher still think I’m on the first folder, but I’m not. Pierre Hébert, you should check how LL manage the last open folder, that may be the bug. (Only assumptions)

Thanks, TrianguloY . I close the folders with back button, and the bug appears in all cases when I follow those steps
