Boy is this weird.
Boy is this weird. I decided to give my drawer a try. I created many folders in my drawer by app category. I then put every app (over 700) into its category folder so that my drawer has just 15 folders with all the apps in them. I then created shortcuts to these folders on the desktop. All was fine, except now if I try to add multiple apps (more than 1) using the alphabetical app drawer, llx proceeds to take 15 seconds and I wind up with every app put on the desktop in the order they appear in the folders. Then I restore my backup cause it is better than trying to delete the app objects from the desktop. This is on the latest version.

Yes. But i confirm this. Also happens if i ad multiple apps to an Folder. But it only happens with batch add. If i just add an app, everything is ok.

Exactly, if you just tap a single app it is added fine. Also noticed my backup files went from 17meg up to 68meg. Something just ain’t right.

You could upload one of these backups, so one could have a look at it.

That’s crazy.

The app drawer takes about 45% of your backups size. (the app drawer alone, not the folders in there). 90% of that is a blue-red spiral image, which is in there 14 times. I suggest to not use this image, or scale it down before using it. This will not only reduce backups size, but also LLs data size.
However, this has probably nothing to do with your bug.

Will remove the image. It is the background of the folders.

I can reproduce the bug easily, that’s funny… well it could be funny…
700 apps is huge!

Actually I just counted and it is closer to 500 apps that show in the app drawer so maybe I am your extreme app drawer tester 😉
