App drawer Plugin bug
Edit: on a fresh install of lightning there is no error popup.
So i don’t know what’s causing it in my test setup in de video. I did not mess with script. I will try to make setup again and see if everything stays good.
Edit 2
Reinstalled previous lightning template setup (instead of remake) and tried to install Plugin again. This time without error.

This is mysterious. I have been unable to reproduce it twice, although it happened the first time I tried. I tried on several devices, after a clean install of both LL and MultiTool, or with the same setup restored from a backup as you did, but no way to see again the bug.
When the bug happened for me I was able to capture debug data, but unfortunately not enough to understand where the problem is.

I guess we’ll wait until we see it again. I don’t like to leave bugs in software, but this one is too obscure to be worth the time, unless it happens more often.

Pierre Hébert if you still want to search: The crashing script seems to be the setup, as this is the only script which could be deleted. The line 43 would be .commit() on a property editor.

Unfortunately bugs have a bad habit. They hide themselves very well during betas, and as soon as the software is out, bugs reappear like magic.
You can be sure that this one will appear again, and more frequently that we’d like 😉

Yes, I have a full stacktrace, but the exact location where it crashes doesn’t make sense to me. I believe something broke earlier.

Yes this is very strange. Before I saved and reinstalled the troubled lightning template setup. I had with every appdrawer plugin install this error. but…
After I saved and reinstalled the troubled lightning template setup.
I did not experienced any errors anymore. Installed appdrawer a few times now.
So I hope we are good now.

Don’t hope, bugs never disappear 😉

and if they seem to do it’s highly suspicious 😀

If they run in to me again, I’ll let you know. 😉
