I’ve been using LL since October when I got my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 phone. I have LL on that as well as my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition tablet. It works great with everything except the NY Times widget. I’ve tested the widget on both devices with Nova Launcher and Samsung’s TouchWiz launcher and it’s rock solid all the time. But with LL it often locks up, not responding to refresh attempts or attempts to change the content section being displayed. And, LL crashes periodically when the NY Times widget is on one of my screens, even if I’m not interacting with it. It’s a great widget, and I’d love to use it, though I wouldn’t give up LL for it. I’d be happy to try any suggestions to further figure this out.

I will try to install it on my device to see whether I can reproduce the bug, but to tell the truth, I know that there are samsung specific issues with widgets and since I don’t have a samsung I am not sure I will obtain the same result. I will try anyway.

Thanks Pierre! It sometimes works for a little while right after installing, but it doesn’t take long for it to start bugging out, certainly within a day.

Hum, I just looked at the app, its price is really high, I am sorry but I will wait a bit… Is there another widget that fails the same way.

Hmmm … the app should be free: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nytimes.android&hl=en; it may require a subscription, though I think they give you a trial period. But I’d be glad to share my login credentials through a private connection if that would help.
