I recently switched from a Nexus 6P to a Pixel XL.
I recently switched from a Nexus 6P to a Pixel XL. Lightning worked great on the Nexus, and everything seems fine on the Pixel except for one problem: when I install a new app, it doesn’t show up in the Lightning app drawer, and it isn’t added to the home page. However, if I go to the Play Store, the app shows installed and if I click on Open, it launches just fine. It also shows up in the All Apps list under Settings, and can be opened from there. But it’s not in the app drawer and I can’t find any way to add it to the home page.
If I use any the Pixel launcher, the app is in the app drawer, and I can add it to the home screen. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling LL, but it made no difference. Apps that I added before that then show up in the LL app drawer, but new apps I add don’t.
This has happened with every app I have added. Two examples: ToDo Cloud from Appigo, and Soundcloud.
Any suggestions would be most appreciated!
Hi, I’m not sure if this qualifies as a bug, my apologies if the post is going to the wrong place.
Any thoughts on how to fix this would be much appreciated.

I’m having a problem that just cropped up. My Samsung Galaxy Note 4 recently updated the OS to 5.1.1 so it may be related to that. LL works fine unless I try to edit something. When I long press on the screen the menu pops up, and all of the options work except the edit function. When I press on the pencil the screen freezes, and after about 30 seconds or so I get the message “Lightning Launcher isn’t responding. Do you want to close it?”
I’ve tried restarting the phone, switching to the default launcher and back again, but nothing helps. I’ve backed up my configuration. I haven’t tried uninstalling and reinstalling LL because I have quite a bit of configuration, and I’m concerned that it might not all get restored from the backup.
Any thoughts on what would be my best way to address this would be much appreciated.
