I would like the ability to create a folder that has no associated icon/text or presences on any desktop or screen.
I would like the ability to create a folder that has no associated icon/text or presences on any desktop or screen.
Why? So that a folder can be accessed only via a gesture.

If I understand you correctly. My whole entire setup is created with that. I open folders from my main Desktop with swipe gestures and the folders are located on other Desktop

I do see now you said that isn’t located on any screen. But I do have to ask. Why does it matter if the folder is located on a screen or not? All my folders are on a screen that I never have to go to if I so choose

My 1 Button Setup also has all the folders on a screen that you can’t scroll to (stop point barrier). Doesn’t matter how they’re placed or what they look like. Some open by an icon, some only by gesture.

Because if you inadvertently delete the folder from the screen, or delete the desktop related to the screen, you will lose the folder along with any layout/customizing you have done.
Ultimately, what I would like to see is a way to backup and restore individual folders and desktops… Pierre Hébert hint, hint… 🙂

Much easier: when you open LL’s app drawer (“All Apps”) in category “my drawer” you can create folders and add apps to them. So these folders are not on any desktop, but can still be linked to.

Again not trying to be difficult but I really don’t see how you could accidentally delete a folder or screen… I mean I guess nothing is a guarantee but highly unlikely and at worse situation you could just restore a backup
