Hi Mate

Hi Mate,

I have a small feature request. Could you please add an option to

Open folder, in App Drawer, with swipe gesture on desktop. This might avoid having a folder icon on desktop.

Option to move folder created on desktop to App Drawer.

Support for widgets in folders, in app drawer (Similar options if the folder created on desktop).

As of today you can open a folder (located in the app drawer, or elsewhere) from the home desktop using the “Open folder” action.

Moving is not really an option, this would rather be a copy, otherwise your app drawer will miss some apps 😉

And regarding widgets, I don’t wish to do that: the app drawer needs to stay more or less a repository of installed apps. If it behaves like a normal desktop, with widgets and so on, then there is no need for a app drawer, this would be another desktop. Under the hood the desktop and the app drawer share a lot of things, and managing widgets wouldn’t be a problem, but simply I believe that the app drawer should stay closed most of the time, and mostly serve as a picker in the end.

Just a question why don’t you just put your folders on a screen all by themselves that you never go to. I put all my folders on a screen and forget about them.

Hi Pierre Hébert Chris Wood I agree to both of you. Made a very good point there. I will try to follow chris’s suggestion. Thanks.

Note: It looks like many of you searching for something like a floating / overlay desktop and not a folder with icon. but rather a list of pop ups.
