Hi, guys.

Hi, guys. I was wondering if there is a way to mix the effects of the options Fit to Icon and Swap to Pages. I’ve made two sidebars using the first one, and scroll stops at the end of them, but it stops too before that if you don’t swipe enough. I prefer the scroll way that I get with Swap to pages, but then scroll doesn’t stop at the end of the icons in the sidebar. So, I ask you if there is a way to combine both options. I mean, a way to get scrolling stops when it gets an icon and, at the same time, swaps to that icon, or return to home screen if you don’t swipe enough.

If there isn’t a way to do that, maybe it could be an idea for future releases, don’t you think?.

I hope that I’ve explained myself, sorry for my bad English.

Cheers

i did not quite get what your saying, but i can tell you that scrolling stops will be getting some work done to them so they will stop one direction but not th other, they will stop you from scrolling/dragging passed them at all and if we are really lucky snap to scrolling stops will be added.

these were th top features in a recent vote: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/14K2Fd2bpzHc8D2dd-rQud7lq7t_BzQaMfwnYcfl1YDM/viewanalytics

I dont understand what you want. Do you want a row of icons like off the left side of the screen that show up when you scroll that way?

Thanks for your answers, and sorry  for my bad explanation. Indeed, it is not easy to explain.

Just a few posts down, you can check my homescreen (I shared it yesterday, at 14:26. It’s the one with the autumn style). As you can see, I’ve made lateral, bottom and upper hideable sidebars. I’ve use the option Fit to Icon, in zoom settings, so that the scroll in any dirrection from homescreen stop at the moment it gets to the icons.

The cuestion is that, with that option enabled, the scroll stops before the end of the sidebar too, it doesn’t snap to it. I mean, when you swipe just a little bit, the scroll stops in the middle of the side bar. As a results of this, the feeling is like the scroll is less responsive (at least, it seems to me so).

Now, the thing is that whe you use the Snap to Page option (in a normal configuration, with multiple screens) the scrolls never stops in the middle of a screen, it gets to its edge or, if you don’t swipe enogh, it returns to swipe origin.

I guess that a Snap to stop scroll point could get a good result, anyway.

I hope my doubt is more clear now.

    Thanks again for your messages.

I understand what you are asking but for now I think adding manual scroll stops is your best bet. It wont snap but perhaps thats comming with the new features. Best to check out the feature request list and if its not there put in a request.
