v9.2.b2
A second beta will be online soon (still LLX only) ! While it merely fixes bugs, this is still a beta because there was quite a lot of changes under the hood…
v9.2.b2 focuses on improving the lock screen feature and fixes many bugs. As a single “Unlock screen” action is not enough, I have also added a new item type “Unlocker”. At the moment there is a single unlocker available though, no customization available here. Will see in the future how it goes.
This version also addresses other bugs that have been reported here, and the full changelog is:
– better behavior upon incoming call in lock screen (don’t display the lock screen again when the call has ended for instance)
– fix app drawer icon issue (need to do a full reset of the app drawer, or export/import a template)
– fix the widget creation window that keeps re-appearing when applying a template
– fix several issues with lock screen and panels (unlocking, events, etc.)
– fix stop points when flinging in overscroll
– when using the dual position option, also save the size for items detached from the grid.
Edit, important: in order to use the lock screen with this version, set android security setting to screen lock = swipe.
Have fun !

Can’t get it to work. Have disabled, enabled (added the new unlocker).
Erratic behavior overall, e.g locked while at “lock desktop”, unlock hardware button skipped lockscreen, and sent me to home desktop, but not “home page”.
Will try a restart and come back.

Kjell Hensman , could it be that in android security settings the value of screen lock is set to none ?

Yes and no: you can configure it so that it is reasonably safe (no way to unlock inadvertently), but if you really need security with password or pin code, etc. you cannot trust a third party apps and you need to rely on the mechanisms built in the framework (the standard screen lock settings). You can combine both though, but this is a two steps process: first unlock, then enter the password.
