v9.9.7 beta for LL and LLX.
What’s new since the last stable release ?
In a nutshell:
– ability to load a template without replacing the current setup: new desktops will be added to the existing ones
– reworked backup/restore/export screen, I hope it will be less confusing when dealing with backups and templates.
– events can now be configured per desktop, and add a few new events (stop point reached, back key, …)
– improved (nested) panel scrolling (will scroll the desktop or the panel according to the “scrollability” of the content)
– scripting (LLX only): still has some major caveats, including reproducible crashes
– a few bug fixed, and many new ones: surprise, surprise !
Since the alpha/beta Google Play system seems a bit “wonky”, do not hesitate to play with opt in/out otherwise you may not receive the update…

I’m mega confused here.
Since its now possible to configure events per desktop do we still need all settings/general/events and actions? I locked every option in this menu thinking I could just set up the events and actions for my current desktop using the new menu but I was wrong the only thing I could do was pinch to zoom no buttons worked no long tap nothing to bring up the lightning menu to undo what i did, all I could do was pinch to zoom lol.

It work as the default/specific settings with items.
In general are the default settings.
In each container you can override them with specific ones.

Ar I thought the new events per desktop would work for the app drawer azwell, This way I could set swipe up and down to do nothing (lock) which would stop it scrolling through the other views, Is there a way to do this with scripting?

Jay M There is a way to do this…possible in previous versions too. A bit tricky. I answer it in a post…since search is a pain you should set the scroll direction to both, and the overscroll to disabled.

That works great but only If i want to scroll vertically, I want to scroll horizontally.

< ![CDATA[
Jay M that’s the main problem…you can use ‘my drawer’ to place the items horizontal thought.

I will add more events customization for the app drawer in the future, but I need to check border effects first, because not all actions can be applied in this context, or would need to be processed differently.
