Gestures! .. one of LLX’s many hidden gems.

Gestures! .. one of LLX’s many hidden gems.

I see the gesture-based interface as the next generation of interaction. No other android launcher that I know of can allow me to set up my desktop the way I have as shown in the picture (with one of LLX gesture menu screens shown on right)

I use gestures to launch all my most used apps from this desktop … no icons anywhere. Add the ability to user gestures to call scripts, folders etc and you can do almost anything.

LLX is like Aladdin’s Cave .. when you first enter it seems empty .. but as you start to explore you find all these hidden treasures.

Speaking of hidden treasures did you see that setup someone posted with the holes script? That’s was pretty sweet.

Jay M dang I missed it somehow! Maybe someone will show up with a link.

Harry Buskes scripts are one of the many amazing reasons why Pierre Hébert has developed the best launcher for android. I think any of us could just about name 10 things that would be impossible with other launchers, at least without the use of 3rd party apps.

Pierre Hébert the sort/s of video like the one posted by Jay M above would be great as part of a marketing strategy for LLX … it blew me away.

Jay M wow! Im almost speechless. I would get lost trying to set it up! Haha I bet it could used with a transparent, (or semitransparent), folder background to keep stuff on the desktop from showing through.

He needs to update the Gplay screenshots there cool but don’t really show what LLX is capable of.

Stahw Down  Oh! How come that I missed this one ? It’s great and very original!

Harry Buskes true, and I badly need to replace the current videos which are terribly outdated and poor. It took me days to create them, but when I look at them now, I wonder whether I should unpublish them right now!

Some time ago I started to write a new “scenario” with what I think is interesting in Lightning but never finished it…
