Hi there, new user here.

Hi there, new user here.

I was trying to make some sidebars on my desktop, following the tutorials here, I encountered a small issue.

When using a panel with stop points as in picture 1, if I swipe once I get the wanted result (pic 2), BUT, if I swipe again to the left I get a few additional pixels (pic 3).

I can detach the panel from grid and move it to the left, correcting the size to maintain the icons centred, but it doesn’t seem an elegant solution, and I’m wondering if I’m missing something.

I had the same problem. Try to enable ‘fit to screen’ option in scroll/zoom settings and delete scrolling stop point on the left of panel

Fit to screen was already enabled. Anyway taking away the stop point solved the issue entirely, as far as I see.

    Thank you very much!

It would be nice to understand why that happened, though, in order to avoid similar occurrences…

Josh Gray Ok, I think I identified the problem with stop points: overscroll animations.

If I use any of them on the main desktop then the stop point will misbehave, allowing to break even the “barrier” option.

This comes in handy, ’cause from what I’ve seen stop points are much more flexible than the fit to screen option.
