Where is the best place to find some good tutorials on LL? I haven’t really been able to find to much, the developers youtube videos are somewhat helpful, but a little bit fast and not very in depth. Any recommendations?
2 things I am looking to do is: set a wallpaper/background in a way that it is aligned and scaled to take up just part of the screen , add a launch bar/navigation bar along the side or bottom, similar to this:
In that theme that’s just a usual wallpaper picture. And the elements/buttons visible in the foreground only have their background set to solid colors.
Sterling Phry also, try looking at some of the videos included in some of the photo albums in the Share Your Apk section. Might give you some insight as to what’s going on. Some elements are not what they at first seem when viewed in a screenshot.
Download some templates from play store and see how they’re set up and then change stuff to see what it does. Add some desktops try to repeat what’s been done. Build off the template etc. Take stuff apart and see if it works right when you put it back together. HnS and Bluetap are are pretty good examples.

For a sidebar:
– Create a folder
– Go to ‘Folder Options’
– Configure ‘Items’ & ‘Current Folder Window’ options to your liking.
– Then in ‘Settings’ assign a gesture for that Folder
