All

All,

Since the last week I spent most of my time on the project to fix bugs and stabilize the thing. If all goes well this activity will decrease (I hope!) and let me more time to work on new things. Many peoples asked  for new features the last week: what about selecting a few of them and then start a vote to decide which one to implement first ? What would be the features you would like to see in the voting ?

    Indeed an excellent idea.

    -Full stop points

-Snap to “full stop points” or “stop points”

    New requests

-Option to pin an item (pin its position ignoring the orientation)

-Option to switch between desktop when changing orientation (one for portrait, and another desktop for landscape)

    😀

id 80 : Add action “Open folder”

which if i understand it correctly would allow to create folders in the app drawer and use them on the desktop

I don’t know where the list is so I’ll just throw this out there because someone must have requested this before. Would like something to indicate what layer each object is on (like a numeric overlay for quick reference when in edit mode). If not possible or not of interest, no biggie. Just figured I’d put it out there.

    2. scroll points in a given direction

When I launch an app via a swipe gesture, although it launches I don’t get the app in my recent apps, meaning if I’m going to be multitasking I actually need to open a folder with the actual icon/shortcut to launch an app. Is there any way you could get it to launch the app so it showed up in the recent apps list?

A feature to hide all the icons/widgets on homescreen to display the live wallpaper. This has been long requested by many users and was finally implemented by LG. Can we get something like that 🙂

talking of nice bugs, what ever was fixed with widget scaling recently was working better for me before it was fixed also th home button no longer takes me out of edit mode, i don’t mind though i find my way around how ever it works and could never make something as good as LL and am happy with it in all it’s incarnations.

The recent update allows widgets to change their layout upon resizing. Does it produce some border effect elsewhere ?

Regarding the home key, the reason is I removed any default behavior for it. As the back key does what the home key did, this is only a matter of habit. That said I perfectly understand how it can be annoying because I was myself pretty used to hit home to get out of edit mode !

no, previously i could scale th stock JB clock and chop off th date and alarm info and th time would stay large, now when scale it th time reduces in size and th date and alarm info remains visible, so it is probably working better, i just replaced it with a zooper widget overlayed with a completely transparent LL widget so it still launches th clock when i tap it.

    Hi Pierre,

this is Peter Schneider who wants to send you the backup of the crashed

screen layout. Is this here a private message and nobody else will receive

    or see it?

Sorry, I’m still new to Google+ and don’t want to make my backup public.

Don’t know what it contains in detail.

Thanks for your help and quick reply. The backup is ready for sending out.

    Best regards,

    Peter
