Another bug:

Another bug:

The properties menu when editing containers is wrong if you: edit container A and hide that menu. Go to container B and show that menu. Properties of the container A will be shown. (It is not necessary to use desktops)

This can make also a bug: if that previous container is a deleted one, I tested with a desktop, it will undo the deletion when editing a propertie, or crash. (Note to Pierre Hébert: this is what I did in the email I sent to you)

Now I’m thinking this is expected (if you are undo a panel deletion for example it needs to go back) the problem is, I think, when the panel is deleted somehow and can’t be restored.

Just DL the latest version

Just DL the latest version

Love it.

Question….where did the items menu go in the custom options?

I love the flexibility of LL…second to none.

I love the flexibility of LL…second to none. However, one issue has always stood out. I recently compared it to Action Launcher to confirm this issue is not present in some other launchers.

When selecting an app, there is a brief delay before the app launches. In this time I usually see the selection effect rendered (holo versus plain). In Action Launcher, for example, as soon as I touch an item it is launched (no detectable delay). I find it most noticeable when bringing up the app drawer in the two launchers. I tried to set the tap event to launch the item, hoping to avoid the selection effect, but I’m not sure it has made a difference.

Is there something causing the delay? Should thr selection effect be optional? Is it something to do with waiting for a long tap to see about editing mode? It makes me think of programs that wouldn’t react until the mouse click up event instead of acting on mouse click down.

If it can be fixed by setting the tap to launch the item (as under event/gesture), maybe there could be a global setting to enable each item to launch its respective item on initial tap down event?

Shout out to users of my ‘App Drawer’ script:

Shout out to users of my ‘App Drawer’ script:

I noticed that the way I hacked into Lightnings menu fails because of the new Layout. Better don’t do long taps…

Shout out to users of my ‘MultiTool’ script:

I am aware of several bugs in the scripts and the other category, where I don’t know exactly how they are caused. I hope I can update soon.

Why? Because I can! There is simply no use for this, but it’s satisfying to get it working. Just another script…

“Material Folders” script is done!

“Material Folders” script is done!

Download from here: http://goo.gl/S1Scji

Easiest way to use?

– Download and install APK

– “Load script” to install the scripts

– Run “Create” script on desktop to create, configure and event-wire the folder

– Done!

This way makes it simple to also update scripts when I post updates.

Long-tap on folder icon to change color or open effect settings (choose effect, change speed, smoothness and more).

Icon is font-based, change it by editing the folder item’s label. Will be synced automatically to icon in folder’s header. I quickly put together a simple font “Material Folder Icons” with icomoon to get you started. See cheatsheet for icon’s letters.

Enjoy!

EDIT: When looking at the scripts, be prepared (in Settings and ColorPicker) to see LOTS of Android/Java objects being used. Made me eager to probably try to developing Android apps.

I don’t understand why nobody is writing articles about Pierre Hébert.

I don’t understand why nobody is writing articles about Pierre Hébert. I’ve never used an app that had the the communication and support of a developer like LL. I think one of us should write an article. Anyone a blogger?
