Not sure if this a bug but when opening the activity screen to edit the settings like layout or events of a desktop, the desktop load event gets fired.

You would assume the desktop paused would be fired instead.

This is a wanted behavior with the new architecture. The reason is that the desktop is displayed in this screen (the preview). In order to make things correctly, everything need to be done the same way, including the desktop “life cycle”, with its load and resume events. The same happens for the configure desktop screen. Actually what you should see is a load event in the home screen, then a pause in the home screen, a load in the configuration screen followed by a resume event.

I can confirm the cycle you described.

I am able to work around by detecting if the current screen is an activityScreen and act accordingly.

    Cheers Pierre
