Hi Pierre Hébert.
Please allow to define custom folder position not just from “top” and “left”, but to choose an individual anchor position (like Zooper does). Or better let us define margins for all 4 sides. It should still be possible to enter width/height. When editing settings, 1 of 3 values (left/width/right and top/height/bottom) must be zero (“automatic”), that’d do the trick.
The reason I chose “bug report” instead of “feature suggestion” is, that in my “Hide and Seek”-template folders are positioned by top and height, but on devices with resolution different from mine folders are placed too high, too low or even are partially reach out of the desktop. I got complaints about that, but can’t do anything against. Position folder relative to bottom would’ve helped.
Please take a look and think about a proper solution. Thanks in advance!
… and BTW: please don’t forget inheritance of folder settings from desktop to folders in panels 😉
Best regards and have a great new year.

In theory folder position should be scaled according to the screen size, so maybe there is a bug here. Though, I perfectly understand the need for more placement options and anchoring. There was a discussion about that some time ago IIRC.
Regarding inheritance it will take some time. One of the reason is that it will break some existing setup: some unwanted configuration may slip into panels and folders and I would like to avoid this.

Pierre Hébert Understandable. Please try my template on device other than nexus 4 (height) to see the effect. Also see my other report posted just now. Scaling has issues.

To support this, I think part of the issue is that each folder is reformatted individually (with custom box checked). In Lutz Linke design, folders value are managed by standard desktop value. But when applied on my Galaxy note 3. Desktop folder setting are not modified, but each individual folder is. Due to this, I have to resize each folder one by one. While it should haves been doable at desktop level in one go.
