I would like to experiment something: since Google Play allows beta to be downloaded in place of the “Release” version, I would like to use this channel to publish updates more frequently. Of course you will receive these updates only if you registered to this beta. The idea is to let people experiment sooner with new features or fixes, and not bother other with too frequent updates.
And as a starting point, 8.5b1 adds a new “honour pinned items in edit mode” option (on by default). Unchecking it will disable pinning while in edit mode and allow items to be pinned outside of the screen. 8.5b1 also fixes a problem with “Show status bar” action when used through a shortcut.

Pierre Hébert , apparently the new function works well, I’ve added a new item, I’ve pinned it and then I’ve entered edit mode. The icon has lost the pinned property when I’ve unchecked the new option and it moves with screen scroll. Although I don’t get the target of this new function, it seems to work. I keep on testing
