It is it just not in the wiki?

A kind of external question on llx app:

A kind of external question on llx app:

What’s the exact name of the package?

I have made an adb backup via the unified android toolkit, with the intention of restoring everything after rooting my nexus 5.

The restoring process failed somehow, for some apps. LLX is one of those (even if I was sure I saw its name on the initial list), meaning that the app was not even reinstalled, consequently losing app data.

I want now to check if the actual package is still in the backup file, which name should I search for?

Hoping that the very backup did not fail exactly with the app I regarded the most important :/

OK so here is an update to my last question about making my own app drawer on a different desktop….

So much faster and looks great!

I added a panel and made its grid size different from the desktop and then added the “all apps” shortcut into the panel . Then go into the all apps shortcut. Then click on apps and say “add to desktop” and it gets added to the panel! Do it to all apps you want in it. Then go to panel settings and tell it to sort however you want and turn on “rearrange items”. I chose a to z.

Also this is a vertical scroll only.

This works great because when I download a new app I just go through the all app shortcut in the panel and highlight the app and say add to desktop and the sorting will put in there alphabetically!

This loads lighting fast! Unlike the actual LLx app drawer…

How do I make a nice neat App drawer on one of Desktops?

How do I make a nice neat App drawer on one of Desktops?

I have my last desktop set as all apps but I can’t make it just confined to right 4 columns all the way down. How do I quickly add all apps to this specific desktop and have them sorted and organized to in the right 4 columns?

I want this because pulling up the actual full LL app drawer is super laggy. It takes way too long to open.

Sorry if it’s a stupid question and I am missing something obvious.

Sorry if it’s a stupid question and I am missing something obvious.

I am trying to configure some sort of Dock to have a look similar to that or standard Android launcher (or most other Launchers too): a Dock moving to the right side when in landscape and with some sort of divider from the other icons.

I enabled the option to have different landscape and portrait positions but when I switch from portrait to landscape (having also different numbers of rows), the pinned items (in portrait) don’t show up anymore so I can’t move them to a new position to be used in landscape.

Also, is there any kind of options/widgets to have an indicator showing which page/desktop is active?

Thanks!

Is it possible (maybe with script) to set panel with automatically updated content – for example only freshly installed apps, or apps which name starts with “a” etc. ?

One tip for editing SCRIPT

One tip for editing SCRIPT

I’ve just found this tip.

When creating, editing, testing LLx script, its inconvienient of using phone’s soft keyboard, if a script has not a few line.

Do you use Samba Server app? First run this app.

In Script Editor app, tap “Edit…” button.

Then probably a popup will open for selecting your fav editor. In that time, LLx creates a JS file /LLfoder../tmp/script.js

In your PC, go to //your_phones_samba_name/LLx../tmp and open script.js file with your PC editor like Notepad++.

Edit and save in PC, and in your phone, open phone’s editor, then you will see just edited contents, and back to Script Editor.

I dunno if this against the Community rules since its not LL related (and it just says Discussion in the Title) but anywayz does anyone no of a decent Tag editor that can get hi- res coverart manually? preferably with the arts resolution displayed. I’m so sick of having low res coverart its the only downside to a large screen 🙁

I tried loads I thought I found the perfect one in “TCM Music Tag Editor” but for some reason there was an update that resized all saved art to 300x300px which IMO is pointless.

Another great one is “MP3Edit” This ones my favourite but the UI could be better and sometimes it won’t read tracks and when it finds art it only displays 4 at a time with no resolution.

Free Paid PC Android whatever all suggestions are welcome or if anyone knows of a decent mp3player app that doesn’t have cover art or has the option to disable it that will do nicely also, cheers lads and lasses.

Mods feel free to delete this if its against the rules, Preferably after I got a few suggestions 😉
