I’m unable to create scripts in the latest beta. They just seem to be not persisted to a file (can’t be run by any action, vanish often).

Since 12.5b5 my Material Folder script is not working properly anymore. Rendering background image of item is not visible. See attached videos, 12.5b5 (orange) vs 12.5b4 (grey). Good I had a backup.

Also since 12.5b4 some scripts of the Companion template are causing exceptions as reported in that post.

1.

1. When I’m using Talkback (Android default screen reader for low vision and blind people), I’m in drawer and have two pages of folders. When I go to second page and swipe or search with finger to hear next item it reads items/folders from 1st page. (I have in first page folders from A-M and in sec page are folders with letter N but they are not read, I hear names from first page) Same thing is with panels, folders, pages, desktops.

2. When I apply icon pack for panel in panel settings it doesn’t apply to icons in folders. To manually apply icon pack to every folder is little bit annoying. It’s behaves like that in other folders that are not in panel, app drawer too.

3. When I delete app from folder it’s little folder preview still shows old app. In this preview aren’t icons with applied icon packs shown. It doesn’t look nice. Refresh doesn’t help. example: I have folder “Internet” I created this folder and first apps that I moved there were Gmail, Tapatalk and Chrome. I moved Chrome out of folder and added to same place Firefox but little preview shows Chrome icon.

4. New UI is nice but it’s not use able for people that use Talkback. Those little icons on those side bars and long press popup are symbol fonts. When I use Talkback I hear just letters like: b x z I u i p. I can’t label them (add a name to them that Talkback read “Edit item”, “Geometry editor” or “copy” and not x c z a because they are symbol fonts and not menu items) can you change them to menu items or add labels to them?

Some useful (I think so) links Info’s about TalkBack screen reader

I can help with questions about TalkBack if it helps. it would be great if this launcher would be more blind/low vision people friendly. Please write answer to tell me if it even possible.

In 12.5b1, there seems to be an issue with either exporting templates or importing them. As far as I can tell, the exported file seems to be fine. I added a “.zip” to my exported template file and peeked inside. All the images etc seem to be in place. When I tried to import the file on another device, it doesn’t add the page. In fact, it’s almost like lightning force closes. I’ve tried exporting and importing several times. Not sure if it helps or not, but all that’s on the page is an analog clock made with bindings. Sergio Azar, when you imported my template, did it add a page with no clock, or did it not add anything at all? It’s not adding anything for me.

Why do some icon packs say that it’s broken?

About bindings:

About bindings:

If you bind a ‘hard’ feature like (icon) colorize, when it changes, the container scrolling becomes unresponsive, and other bindings refresh slower.

This is really noticeable if you bind this to the colorize

Color.HSVToColor([animate(“$ll_second”)/60*360,1,1])

And question: is the ‘dummy’ feature suitable for tests and clocks that doesn’t need to change anything about the item? Does it needs a return? I found the answer in the wiki
