When creating a bookmark shortcut from within a panel, the shortcut brings back the panel position which is great.

But if you want to trigger the same shortcut from within a widget (e.g. Zooper, Tasker) the shortcut ask you to select a desktop and doesn’t memorize panel position (pure desktop bookmark)

It would be great to have a panel bookmark option to trigger back to a specific panel position.

Some one has mentioned this before (maybe gerd reuter?) But I would like to re-state…

Is it possible to have gestures (most particularly “empty spot” functions) be allowed per individual desktop only?

Currently it seems to be a global setting.

Thanks for your work Pierre Hébert

I think TrianguloY suggestion of having actions triggered by stop point activating could be interesting.

I think TrianguloY suggestion of having actions triggered by stop point activating could be interesting. Both for lock screen or home screen.

I can see quite a few use for that from sliders to pop-up/close folders upon reaching a specific position. and more. It is worth requesting it separately from sliders for lockscreen.

Below video is from +Jay M.

That shows opened webpage(bing.com) as like LL’s normal item

If you cant grap it easily, you can watch this video

In Nexus5’s default Google launcher, we can also see google saerch(voice?) page like that.

I think this opened webpages are a little different to opening normal browser, it may be for routine simple webpage like search/weather/stock info…

Maybe this item or feature is not part of launcher’s and too difficult for adapting existing launcher strructures.. I have no idea..

I understand not of all feature suggestions are accepted, so I happen to suggest it. Just for challenging idea.

I discover that, in latest beta, you added(or it was added) the feature to swipe from the ‘three points menu’ in the app drawer, a Holo new feature only available in latest android versions.

With this, I though about a possible new feature, one of the Holo ones. To add in setting a ‘three points menu’ with ‘help’ to go to your page (depending on where settings you pressed it). The long press feature will stay as now.

I’m suggesting this to be more ‘Holo’ only. (Personally I never use that menu in android settings, but some users like it)

Using G+ web page and app I just a came up with a (maybe crazy) feature sugestion regarding scrolling.

Using G+ web page and app I just a came up with a (maybe crazy) feature sugestion regarding scrolling.

1.) Unidirectional scrolling

We can currently pin items, even just horizontally or vertically. What about in addition restrict vertical/horizontal scrolling to only one direction from it’s original position.

The effect I have in mind: scroll down on a G+ page, the menu bar raises up to a certain point, then stops.

2.) Parallax scrolling

Best explained with example first: open any user’s profile in the G+ app. Scroll down. The page moves up, but the background behind the profile picture moves at a different speed.

What I have in mind for LL: in the “+” customization i.e. for a panel  there could be a “scrolling factor”.

50%: scrolling the desktop a complete page would only scroll the panel half a screen. Vice versa 200% would move the panel twice the way the screen does.

Pierre Hébert , do you generally think this might be possible to implement?
