Based on a personal requirement, but thinking in general I think this is a feature suggestion that can be added.
The feature is about transparent bars, both navigation and status so I’ll say simply bar.
Now we have transparent bar yes/no, my suggestion is to have 4 different types of transparency:
1) no transparency (obvious)
2) background transparency: the same as the app drawer, they will be transparent, and you’ll see the android background, but they still not be part of the screen, you’ll can’t put/see items under them.
3) partial transparency: The new one: they will allow to see items under them however when computing the screen (specially with the layout) they will not take part. Imagine that in the actual mode the screen is a window, and you just make the top and bottom part transparent. In this case when you scroll to the top the upper item will stay in the main part…I know it’s difficult to understand (and explain!) so I can post some images to explain it visually [and there it the question “Can it be done? “]
4) Total transparency: just as now.
]]>Is there anyway to group shortcuts/widgets/etc?
Some kind of grouping can now be done with panels, but it would be a wonderful feature if you could tell exactly which items on the desktop to group, say for example the upper left icon and footer panel with all its icons.

]]>Looks like another one… shortcut “LL – Action >> Add object” brings dialog, but adding an app widget does not work.
Chooser is shown, I can even configure widget, but then it disappears. Have zoomed out, searched on desktop etc, it’s not added.
But: if I long-click and “Add”, widgets can be added.
All other objects (apps, shortcuts, etc) are working also, just not widgets.
EDIT: applies to panels, folders and desktop, too. Permissions problem?
]]>Inside a panel, Customize >> Copy style copies the panels settings, not the ones of the clicked item.
Latest update moments ago of LLX. My home screen now has a black grid on it :(
I want to ask if this feature will be possible, and also if it’s useful for others, this is more personal than my…
So, the problem is that I had a perfect layout with 8 rows, but when transparent bars were added (I like transparent bars) I needed to add more rows to keep the center with 8x rows with bars (a real math problem, I ended with 45 rows and not exactly)
Just before everybody ask: I don’t like to use free mode because I have a lot of apps, that fit perfect in the grid layout, I don’t want to calculate every position-size of every app.
Now, with the possibility to mix layout and edit mode, I have more control, but not enough. What I need is to have the layout computed only with the available screen size, but with the ability to put items under the transparent bars (not as in app drawer).
In case this is a bit confusing, the best feature that could be added is: custom layout (row1: 55px, row2: 100px, row3…) or an offset of the layout. (A layout with 55px offset at top will be enough)
This is a personal and particular request, but maybe other ideas can be extracted.
I also accept suggestions, but remember NOT free mode.
